Can you forgive and forget?

When are you willing to forgive yourself? When do you say it’s enough? How much are you willing to take to gain back the trust to all the loved ones you have caused pain and distrust? When are you ready to throw all the fears away, your emotional baggage and guilt? Are you going to take the guilt forever in your heart or are you willing to open up and take steps in taking actions to live your life in a more decent way.

Emotions comes in very strongly especially if we have inflicted pain to others because of our wrong decisions in our lives. Most of the times, we do not think of our actions and its consequences, we are prone to drastic moves because we feel that we are intangible. These erratic decisions may cause us in deep trouble not realizing that we already hurt someone who belongs to the deepest part of our soul, someone whom we entrust our lives with. Can we regain that trust? Yes, but its not an easy road to take. We have to prove it in time, as they say trust is gained and rebuilding relationships is at stake.

By nature, man, as a result of our wordly deeds cannot fathom the essence of forgiveness. Yes you may forgive, but to forget? Ask anyone but the answers rings into one certain answer. One can forgive but the scar would still remain blemished.

Forgiveness is a process that one should take, step by step. We have to forgive ourselves first, we who committed pain and hurt to others should re assess the reasons if we are really sincere in repentance and surrendering our actions. But to be able to do this we need to have a life coach for us to understand better what we are going through in our lives. Having a life coach would let us rediscover ourselves, set emotional balance to our system and mental focus. Your life coach maybe a friend, a family member or even somebody in the community that would constantly helped you enriched with words of wisdom and encouragement.

Everything we do in our lives is a decision, whether we opted to being happy or being stuck in the darkness forever. That’s why acceptance is the basic key for forgiveness. To admit that we are at fault, is a humble way of dealing with our emotional breakage. It's okay to cry and pour out our troubled emotions because it would not make us a less human being if we do...

It is not only enough that we become aware of our misconducts but it is very important that we learn from it, our actions are coupled with responsibility. Being hard on yourself when it comes to forgiveness is a set up for a lifetime and self afflicted pain. If we fail that doesn’t mean we are a failure. Let our failures serve as a reminder that God is preparing us for something greater. Once, we are able to surrender our misdeeds then focus on the teachings of God, He will give you all the answers through His words, the bible. Know the bible, read it with all your heart and pray, let the Holy Spirit guide you and for once in our lives let God talk, feel His innermost presence. His words are more powerful than you could ever imagine.

God knows what we think, even before we utter, God knows our needs, even before we ask. He knows every whim in our hearts, just ask and He will grant it to you. All we need is to ask the Lord for forgiveness, do not be afraid to pour out your fears, guilt or whatever that’s inside your heart that’s bothering you. We always think that God has left us during our troubled times, He did not..He was actually there carrying us with our cross. When we sinned, He weeps, He is with us all throughout, He is just waiting for us to call His name and go back to Him because we are His children. If we only let God be the center of our lives then all things will be possible with His guidance.

How can you forgive yourself? How can you stop the pain that comes from knowing you have hurt others? Be easy on yourself, we should always remember that if we cannot forgive ourselves that inability can lead to a severe destruction of our character pushing us into deeper discouragement, bitterness and hopelessness. Don’t let our past haunt us, but let Christ handle our past and resurrect our today and tomorrow. Move forward instead for it is only when we move forward that we free our minds from our guilt and fear. God forgives all sin, therefore, let not sin imprison our will to experience the unconditional love of God. “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more (Hebrew 10:17)”

He is a merciful God, He forgives just don’t be afraid to talk to Him and surrender to him. He is a loving God, remember He is our Father, everything in this world is made by Him and no one questions His omnipotence. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation; old things have passed away; all things have become new (2 Corinthians: 5:17)

Greetings. Best of luck with your new blog... Don't forget to post!

I am asking, would you please consider posting a few of your favorite recipes on erecipecards.com
http://erecipecards.com/

It is a tool for bloggers to see and to be seen. Your posts would fit in perfectly.

in addition, all photos, recipe titles as well as your blog name would link directly back to your blog. Thus giving you new attention and potentially new readers.

Or, if you just want to take a look at a lot of fellow food bloggers all in one place. A great learning experience to get ideas about how to establish your own blogging voice!

Please take a look. If you have any ideas or questions, please do not hesitate to write
